Brian Coords wrote an excellent alternative reality version of how things could have gone at WCUS this year. Definitely worth a read.
Now, if that alternative reality or some similar one would have been taken place instead of how it went, I wouldn’t be questioning my contributions.
I do agree with the point I think Matt is trying to deliver here and I do share the concerns of, simply put, private equity endangering the open source.
Just don’t agree with the way how it was address and brought to community’s awareness. And as said, this isn’t the first time poor execution has happened.
